It is located toward the South of the County of Limón, for the highway that drives to Bribrí, 10 km after Cahuita.

The beach has an extension of 10 km together with Beach Cocles. Both with sands whites. Between Viejo Port and Beach Cocles exists a coralline reef that has allowed the creation of a true aquarium, of great attractiveness for the free diving.
