It is located in the Province of Guanacaste, canton of Santa Cruz.

Has an approximate extension of 3 km, of white sands, straight line toward the south and it curves in Northwest sector, before arriving to Cabo Velas. It is of moderate slope toward the sector of Beach Blanca and its goes increasing lightly toward the north. It presents vegetation altered in their coast. In this beach you meets the Park National Marine The Baulas with an extension of 445 there are of beachs, forests and swamps.

The extensive beach is an ideal territory to take baths of sun, to rest and to carry out journeys, especially toward the west, where you can arrive until the small but really picturesque Beachs Ventanas and Carbón and the hill the Morro. The swimmer should take cautions in the outlet of the tideland which is located toward Tamarind.
