Located in the Province of Puntarenas, in the canton of Osa, 16 km to the south of Dominical.

It is inside the Park National Marino Ballena. Curvilinear beach that is prolonged about 4 kms understood between Punta Uvita and Beach Pedregoza, in the south end. Their sands are grizzly color, it presents little vegetation to exception of an array of coconut trees that is located in the south sector.

The fishing and the diving in summer are potential activities of the place.

As opposed to the Beach the Island of the same name apt for the diving is located. Beach Ballena was declared Park National Marino Ballena, for the protection of the hunchback whale.
